I feel so inspired to write this but I want to compliment the owners of The Felt Bird, Stela and Riley, on making me feel at home every time I go into their lovely store. They are not only welcoming but also extremely kind and charming people. If you haven't already, please stop in at their boutique! It's homely, artistic, and creatively tuned.
The Felt Bird utilizes vintage fashion with a modern spin as a theme in their store. They offer several types of unique hand-made jewelry and accessories from different brands all over the US. I've come across so many different cute ear-rings and hair clips, it's hard to imagine a girl not going in there and seeing something she'd have to have! Also, if you're struggling to come up with a good gift for a friend or relative, you're sure to find a quirky idea at The Felt Bird. They have all sorts of clever yet very useful items all throughout the store. I get a crack out of pretty much everything I see there. And that's a good thing! Eric mentioned to me, "When I need a birthday card, I always come here for it." Let's not forget about clothes, either! If you or someone you know is looking for a TOMS seller, this store sells an abundance of styles. Also, I have seen hoodies, shirts, dresses, and more. A new company, I'm sure you've seen or heard of by now, Darby and Dash, has their t-shirts for sale there, too!
Something else I really enjoy about The Felt Bird is their versatility in the look and feel of the interior of the shop. What I mean by that is, they use a variety of furniture to decorate and shelve their products, but also use that to their advantage. Each time I go into their shop, the furniture and placement of their products is arranged differently. But, the way in which they do so makes shopping there fun. Because I don't go there VERY often, maybe once every 6 weeks or so, I like seeing their changes they've made. It makes shopping there an adventure. I get to explore what they have to offer again and again. Riley even mentioned to me that by re-arranging, "We like to keep it fresh." I'm personally glad that they do! It makes my shopping experience all the better! Now if Wal-Mart did something like that, though, I don't think I'd like it very much. LOL!
If Stela or Riley do get to read this, I just want to thank you guys. Your store is like a little piece of Heaven in Enid. I'm so happy that you're doing what you're doing. Thank you for all of the great experiences I've been able to have in your shop! I'll be stopping in there soon and I can't wait!
